Hello, my name is Felicitas Nixdorf.

I teach German language and literature in Dubai and neighboring regions. In 2016 I specialized in the IBDP program.
I am a German native speaker, living and working – after living and working in Italy for 22 years – in Dubai since the beginning of 2011. In 1992 I started studying foreign languages, German language and literature in Rome and graduated summa cum laude in 1997. With this qualification, I first worked in large international law firms and in business. Here in Dubai, I returned to my passion – teaching children and teenagers.

My specialization in the German IBDP program led me to three top IB schools in Dubai. The average grade of all the students I have tutored in the meantime is 6.9. Not a bad rate, is it?

As a teacher and tutor, direct contact with students of all ages is very important to me. After all, it is only through the personal teacher-student relationship that young people gain the confidence in dealing with the subject matter that is necessary to achieve the best possible grades in the exams.

My services range from personalized lessons for individual students and individual support during the two-year course up to the exams. In addition, I offer tutorials to supplement classes at school, provide tutoring for homework, essay writing and Paper 1 and Paper 2 preparations, prepare you for mock exams and oral exams, and train students for the HL Essay (German IBDP A). In addition to the IB program, I have many years of experience teaching German GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level and the Goethe Zertifikat A1-C2.

An important element of my teaching is the inclusion of Past Papers. This allows us to achieve a high level of practical relevance in our exercises.
